What do you photograph?
During our visit, we take pictures of the spots accessible to the public and those that you want to show off. We attach particular importance to your needs. We don’t take pictures of private places, such as offices, restrooms, and local rooms; unless you need it.
What about privacy?
Normally we schedule the photo shots before or after the opening hours. But, if it’s not possible, we do blur the people’s faces in accordance with Google’s protocol to ensure that people who appear on the pictures, cannot be recognized.
What is the best time of day to schedule a virtual tour photo shoot?
We can schedule it at any moment of the day unless our photographers already have bookings. The best moment is before or after your company’s opening hours to avoid disturbing patrons or employees and mainly customers.
How long does it take?
The on-site photography will take between 30 minutes and 2 hours depending on the number of photos required. The tour itself will be delivered to you within 14 days from the shoot date depending on how busy we are at the time, but we will always aim to get the tour up and running for you within the 2-week timescale.
What equipment do you use?
We pride ourselves on providing virtual tours of the highest quality and only use the highest quality equipment. Many 360 photographers will use what are called “One-Shot” cameras, which are a quick and easy solution but provide half the resolution. This can make the images look blurry, grainy, and on larger screens… almost unviewable.We use a full-frame Sony A7Riii camera with a fisheye lens attached, which in turn is all connected to a professional 360 tripod head. 24 photos are then taken which are exposed manually, edited, stitched together, and then finally imported into the 360 software to complete your tour.
On the day, what if the weather is poor?
Unfortunately, we can't control the weather. However, thanks to HDR photography, the weather will not impact the quality of the interior photos we capture.
Are there any ongoing hosting costs?
Hosting Google Street View Virtual Tours is free for life on Google servers.
Custom 360 Virtual Tours receives 3 months of free hosting on our hosting partner's platform. After that each month of hosting costs just £17.99.
How do we add a Custom 360 Virtual Tour to our Website?
We provide you with all the code required to embed the completed Virtual Tour onto your own website.
